Here are 10 home strategies and activities or easy tips that can help conserve water

  1. Check your toilets for leaks
  2. Check faucets and pipes for leaks
  3. Rinse your razor in the sink
  4. Use your water meter to check for hidden water leaks
  5. Don’t use the toilet as an ashtray or wastebasket
  6. Turn off the water after you wet your toothbrush
  7. Install water-saving shower heads and low-flow faucet aerators
  8. Put plastic bottles or float booster in your toilet tank.
  9. Insulate your water pipes.
  10. Take shorter showers.
